I am a 38-year-old woman who finds herself truly contented with her life at this moment; it is madness, messy, funny and predictable all at once, thanks entirely to our nine year old twins, our seven year old son, our five year old son, and our two year old daughter. I’ve been married for almost fifteen years to the love of my life and I’m grateful every day that we’re together.
Writing is a joy to me; the only problem is I fail to give it any of my time. But that’s okay because it means my priorities are in order: the five little people who occupy my days come first in this season of life. So I write when I make time.
It would be impossible to understand anything about me without first understanding that I love and try to follow Jesus every day. He is the life, my grace, my strength.
The quote from which this blog’s name is derived is by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Never let it be said that I don’t cite references.
I created this blog in May of 2009 with the intention of having a collection of writing, a place to practice writing, and to humor people, if only in little bits.
